A special engagement party at the Baltic.

Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, BALTIC is a major international centre for contemporary art.  The venue is also a place to party and this is where John and Cheryl chose to celebrate their engagement with their friends and family.  The weather was lovely and the event started off with a champagne reception on Level One of this grand building with everyone enjoying lovely views of the Tyne.

  This was followed by a traditional British Sunday lunch with guests enjoying the grand banqueting suite to some live background music.   The room was fabulously decorated and looked truly impressive with LED lighting systems.  As the early evening approached, guests sauntered down to the Baltic River Terrace.  This is such a great setting with everyone taking in views of the Tyne and its famous bridges.

It was a pleasure to photograph and document John and Cheryl’s special day for them.  I’m sure the wedding will equally as wonderful.
